New European research from Parks Associates finds 87% of adults 18-24 in U.K. and German broadband households subscribe to a pay-TV service, while only 49% of these young adults in Spain subscribe to pay TV. Brett Sappington, Director, Research, Parks Associates, will discuss this new research at EuroSummit’14 on the panel “Meet the Millennials! Executives and kids debate the future,” Thursday, September 18, 11:30-12:30.
“Western European homes will buy over 24 million intelligent screens in 2014, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs, and the younger generations are leading this purchasing trend,” Sappington said. “This EuroSummit’14 panel will be a unique opportunity to discuss evolving media and technology trends and preferences based on behaviors of both Millennials and Generation Z, which includes children ages 9-14.”
Parks Associates industry reports and research available for purchase include “Emerging Power of IoT in Europe,” “The Evolving Market For Streaming Media Devices,” and “TV Everywhere 2.0: The Next Steps in Multiscreen.”
